With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Higher Ground - A Mountain Guide's Life, by Martin Moran, tells of his life change for accounting to become a mountain guide. He is one of Britain's most experienced and accomplished mountain guides, with several guide books to his name. He has lived life in the mountains to the full and this is his story.
On an ascent of the North Face of the Eiger in 1985 he made his decision to take the mountain guide qualifications, leaving his job as an accountant. Now based in Strathcarron, Wester Ross, he has climbed and guided extensively throughout Scotland, as well as the Alps, Norway, and the Himalayas.
Among his many achievements is the first non-stop traverse of all of the 4000m peaks in the Alps and a record breaking run traversing Skyes Cuillin Ridge.
Martin Moran Martin Moran is one of Britain’s most accomplished mountaineers and guides. Born on North Tyneside he pursued a mountain path from boyhood. After studying geography at Cambridge University he and his wife Joy moved to Sheffield where Martin trained as a chartered accountant, consolidating his climbing experience with an ascent of the Eiger North Face and new alpine-style routes in the Himalaya. In 1985 he qualified as a British and International IFMGA Mountain Guide and moved to Lochcarron in the North-West Highlands. He has made over a dozen pioneering ascents in the Himalaya and climbed a hundred new winter routes of high standard in Scotland. Martin and Joy have two grown-up children, Alex and Hazel.
