La Sportiva's mission is to bring you the best technical products to explore the outdoors. For nearly 100 years we have been producing innovative products and we are looking forward to the next 100 years. Produced and designed in a small mountain town at the foot of the Dolomites, the mountains surround the people who handcraft our products. Being mountain based and family run allows us to draw on decades of experience handed down through the generations. With this heritage we can focus on the future and meld new technologies, ideas and innovation with our rich knowledge of manufacturing to give you the most amazing products on the market. ENVIRONMENT & SOCIAL CARE

For 90 years, La Sportiva has been located within the fascinating scenery of Val di Fiemme, at the foothills of the Dolomites. Such an incredible location brings with it an intrinsic social and environmental responsibility which is strongly felt within the company.

By adopting specific low impact production procedures and the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, La Sportiva, Ziano di Fiemme via Ischia, continues to put respect for the environment in primary position.

Eco friendly production procedures are employed at all levels, including the recycling of production waste material, use of photovoltaic and solar panels to produce energy, the filtering of CO2 emissions and the use of 100% renewable energy sources. The company has also introduced procedures which meet international socio-environmental criteria, and in 2012 became a Bluesign® Member, presenting the first entirely Bluesign® certified products in 2014.

Since 2013 the company has supported EOCA, the international non-profit organization which provides financial projects for the environmental conservation crucial to the worldwide eco system.
