The ever useful DMM Shadow is one of those biners everyone should have on their rack. These Locksafe Shadows are ideal for rigging and for anchors, and are colour coded for ease of use.
Think of the Shadow as a bigger version of the Phantom. The extra gate opening and larger size make it easier to use if you are wearing gloves, so ideal for alpine and winter climbing. Despite giving beefy performance this biner still hangs lightly on your rack.
Using the DMM Locksafe mechanism, these carabiners are quick and simple to use with just one hand and lock automatically, increasing safety margins.
