Fabric

The M-Series M840 and M210 fabrics are both durable, double rip-stop Polyamide fabrics. They feature a SWR face-coating for water-repellency and snow-shedding with a PU coating on the inside.

Zip Access

The Goblins’ zip-top makes for a very neat and minimal aesthetic while keeping the weight low. The YKK® Racquet Coil zips provide the greatest possible toughness and strength, being specifically designed for luggage and use in high abrasion areas. For context, they are the same type of zip as used on the legendary M.E. kit bags.

Tool And Pole Carry

A versatile two-part carry system will secure either ice axes or trekking poles. The easily adjustable top tensioner holds an axe’s shaft or a pole securely and is easily released when the time comes. The lower section is a variation on the time-tested webbing loop for securing ice axes, though this iteration’s adjustability and the custom narrow webbing makes it better suited for use with trekking poles and the wide variety of modern ice axes.

Great bag and good service from the company

A useful size in a durable fabric with convenient pockets. I would have preferred the waist belt to be detachable. The base attachment loops with an adjustable loop slip loose when retaining the weight of an ice axe thus allowing it to bounce about.

This is a brilliant day pack/EDC back pack. All the straps and accessories are removable so you can really streamline it when needed. The materials and construction are all top notch, its not a heavy backpack but it feels very rugged and Im sure will stand the test of time. The top opening is designed in such a way you can open it and remove something with one hand very easily which is really handy. The only things that could be improved is the back padding and the two zips at the top of the bag, the back padding is comfortable but offers no airflow so on a hot day it will be sweaty, the 2 top zips have no form of storm flap to protect them from rain, Ive yet to take it out it bad weather but I will definitely be using dry bags for anything that needs to stay dry. Conclusion, brilliant, light weight but durable and well designed pack that could be slightly too minimal for some.
