The Mountain Equipment Andola Men's Jacket is a lightweight, warm and highly versatile insulated jacket designed for cold-weather adventures. Ideal for winter hill walking, mountaineering and ski touring, it combines the natural warmth and breathability of 100g/m² HD® Wool insulation with a lightweight, wind-resistant outer fabric.
The UK-sourced HD® Wool insulation provides excellent warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable, helping regulate temperature during active use. Wool also retains its insulating properties when damp and naturally helps to control odours, making it particularly well suited to demanding mountain environments.
A lightweight 20 Denier ripstop nylon outer provides wind resistance, mechanical stretch and excellent freedom of movement. The PFAS-free DWR treatment offers additional protection from light moisture, while the insulated Mountain Hood provides extra warmth and protection when conditions deteriorate.
The Andola uses Mountain Equipment's Mountain fit, allowing comfortable layering without unnecessary bulk. It can be worn as a warm outer layer in dry conditions or underneath a waterproof shell when additional protection is required.
