Returns and Refunds

Online Returns Information:

  • In the event that your purchase is not suitable, for whatever reason, you have the right to return it to us.
  • Goods should be returned in new condition, unused, and with their original undamaged packaging.
  • We aim to process all returns within 72 hours. This may take slightly longer at busy times of the year. We will e-mail you once your return has been processed.
  • Any items returned will be refunded unless faulty or shipped in error.
  • If you wish to exchange an item for any reason, please place a new order for the items that you want.
  • Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for the return postage costs, no postage costs are refundable.
  • Goods may be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt.
  • You do not need to contact us to notify us of your return unless the item is faulty or is outside of our 30-day policy.
  • Goods must be packaged securely to ensure they are not damaged in transit. The responsibility and liability of the goods remain with you until we are in receipt of the goods.
  • For health and safety reasons face masks cannot be returned for an exchange or refund.
  • Climbing & PPE Safety Equipment can only be returned on very strict conditions. Everything must be exactly as it was received, with packaging and labelling intact. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used or contaminated then we regret that we are unable to accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.
  • In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault, for whatever reason, then please contact us first either by telephone or email for further instructions. In the majority of cases, any faulty goods will have to be returned to us and then forwarded on to their respective suppliers for inspection. Please be aware that this process may take several weeks in some cases. Any postage costs paid will be refunded by THE CLIMBERS SHOP if a product is deemed as faulty and still under a manufacturer's warranty.

Offering efficient lighting thanks to a 500 lumen power beam, this headlamp is rechargeable and weighs only 79 g. Equipped with an Airfit headband, consisting of an ultra-slim front unit and a remote power source at the rear, this innovative lamp is particularly well-balanced and comfortable to the point of being forgotten. In addition, its light beam is obtained thanks to multiple LEDs that provide a homogeneous distribution of light and a much appreciated visual comfort.

Delivered with a CORE rechargeable battery, this model benefits from a second battery option thanks to the Hybrid Concept construction which makes it compatible with three AAA/LR03 batteries (not included). Worn around the head but also worn around the neck, this versatile lamp can also be transformed into a lantern, thanks to its storage pouch. Another advantage: it can be folded flat for easy storage and can be taken anywhere.

Buyers Guide - How to choose a head torch

What should you never go out into the hills without???? A torch!
This key little piece of equipment is not just there to help guide you through your nighttime adventures but it can be an emergency beacon and signalling device too. A small investment (and battery or power management) can literally save your life.
The humble headlamp has undergone an astounding technical re-vamp in the past ten years, not least in the amount of brightness they emit………..

Top tips to make the right choice:

In rain or snow move the light from your head to chest height (i.e: on a pack strap) this is more comfortable for your eyes and improves your vision. This technique also works really well in still, damp cold conditions – with the light at chest height the light will not reflect off the water molecules that condense in front of your face as you breath out.

An orange light option preserves night vision but still allows you to read contours on maps. This function can work well for ultra’s or orienteering.

Try it on. Elastics come in a variety of widths and even if you are planning on using your torch on a helmet there will be times it will be on your head in camp. If you wear a ponytail – make sure it fits!

    Bought for running. Great balance, no sense of weight on my head and sits comfortably without feeling tight. Three light settings but tend to use the brightest setting when running
