The Trisar 2 Wild Country by Terra Nova Tent is a great semi geodesic tent. The 'inner pitch first' design provides extra stability and great protection from all but the worst of the weather. The freestanding format also makes this tent ideal for camping where the ground is less firm, as it doesn't rely on guy lines and pegs to support its main structure. The Wild Country Trisar 2 man tent has been designed for year round backpacking trips and is also well suited for group, Duke of Edinburgh or Scout use in more exposed conditions.
The Trisar range has ventilation front and back, the front vent can be adjusted from the inside of the tent while the back vent is opened or closed from the outside. The flysheet door is particularly versatile, opening from the top, bottom or fastening at the side, allowing you to cater for changes in weather and weather direction. The Trisar range uses Wild Country Superflex alloy poles and tried and tested Wild Country, high performance flysheet and groundsheet fabrics.

Top tips to make the right choice:Key questions to ask yourself before tent shopping are: Where am I going? When am I going? What terrain will I need to pitch on?
A footprint or groundsheet protector is an excellent investment – moles have no idea how much financial trauma they cause when trying to surface under a brand new tent!
If you are a super tidy tent person and have a tent partner who, er….isn’t; save yourself hours of torment by gifting them a gear loft or tent tidy so you don’t lose valuable life minutes while they ratch around for their stuff.
Remember to place your shockcorded poles together rather than allow them to snap together this reduces fracturing at the ends over time.
A tarp pitched over the front of your tent can make a great gear garage so you have more space inside. It can also double up as an all weather kitchen.
ALWAYS keep your inner doors zipped up while pitching a geodesic tent in a high wind. If it is not pegged down it could go up, up, up and far away…..
