The Force 10 MTN 2 is a strong, fully geodesic mountain tent that has been improved with the addition of their Axial Hub; connecting the poles at each crossover point for even more strength and weather resistance. This adds to the already stable free-standing design with a fast inner-first pitching system.
The flysheet clips into the inner for a quick and secure pitch, with the buckles designed to be easy to use when wearing gloves in winter, in addition to expedition doors that let you exit through the top half in case of snow build up. The groundsheet is a 10cm nylon bathtub on the inner with fully taped seams for a waterproof seal.
Venting and warmth have been thought about with the double door on the inner; the first door is breathable nylon to hold in the heat and the second is full mesh for maximum ventilation in warmer weather. The inner tent also has roof vents for additional ventilation to help reduce condensation. The Force 10 MTN 2 is an all-round tough, reliable shelter that keeps a great balance between weight and durability.

A footprint or groundsheet protector is an excellent investment – moles have no idea how much financial trauma they cause when trying to surface under a brand new tent!
If you are a super tidy tent person and have a tent partner who, er….isn’t; save yourself hours of torment by gifting them a gear loft or tent tidy so you don’t lose valuable life minutes while they ratch around for their stuff.
Remember to place your shockcorded poles together rather than allow them to snap together this reduces fracturing at the ends over time.
A tarp pitched over the front of your tent can make a great gear garage so you have more space inside. It can also double up as an all weather kitchen.
ALWAYS keep your inner doors zipped up while pitching a geodesic tent in a high wind. If it is not pegged down it could go up, up, up and far away…..
