The Mountain Equipment Zeno FZ Women’s Pant is a lightweight, full-zip waterproof trouser designed to keep you protected when wet and windy weather arrives. Built specifically for women, these versatile shell trousers combine reliable waterproof protection with a comfortable, active fit and excellent freedom of movement, making them ideal for hiking, trekking and hillwalking.
The Zeno FZ uses 2.5-layer DRILITE® 50D fabric, providing a 20,000mm hydrostatic head for dependable protection from rain and snow. The waterproof membrane contains 75% recycled content and is finished with a PFAS-free durable water-repellent treatment. Fully taped 15mm seams help prevent water entering through the stitching, while the breathable construction helps release moisture vapour during active use.
An Active Fit, articulated knees and gusseted crotch provide unrestricted movement without excess fabric, making the trousers comfortable when walking on steep or challenging terrain. The tailored leg is designed to layer comfortably over hiking trousers while maintaining a streamlined profile.
Full-length two-way YKK® side zips make it easy to pull the Zeno FZ on over walking boots without removing footwear. Internal and external storm flaps provide additional weather protection, while the two-way design can be opened for ventilation when you're working hard on the trail.
An integrated elasticated waistband with drawcord allows you to adjust the fit for all-day comfort, while adjustable hems provide a secure fit around different walking boots. Weighing just 230g, the Zeno FZ packs down easily and can be carried until you need additional protection.
