Vango Sherpa 60:70L S - Thunder

Season:EOL

Brand:Vango

Code:5067050

As the name suggests, Vango have made the Sherpa change size from 60L to 70L thanks to expansion zip side pockets, giving plenty of storage space for any extra items you might need on your DofE expeditions. This generous size is carried by the Self Adjust back system, adaptable to backs of almost any size and designed to carry weight with comfort all day long. The adjustable harness is shaped to provide an optimum fit and the air mesh in the shoulder straps provide a steady air flow. The sternum strap with whistle provides extra support when carrying heavier loads. This ‘S’ version is designed for those with a shorter back length, measuring between 46-56cm from hip to C7 vertebrae.

There are plenty of pockets for storage and easy access, with a very important OS map-sized pocket with a water-resistant zip, two zips pockets in the lid, expansion side zip pockets and an optional compartment divider; useful for separating wet and dry kit at the bottom of your bag. The practicality then goes further, with a zip pocket on the waist belt that’s ideal for snacks when on the move!

The main rucksack fabric is 600D Excel Polyester; tough, rugged and backed with PU for extra strength. Although it’s highly water-resistant, Vango have included a high visibility raincover just in case the weather takes a serious turn and it starts raining heavily, rounding off a rucksack that’ll see you go all the way from your Bronze DofE through to Gold and beyond.
