Suunto Race 2 GPS Watch in All Black

Season:AW26

Brand:Suunto

Code:6502896

The Suunto Race 2 is an advanced GPS multisport watch designed for athletes who want pro-level training support, lightweight design, and smoother performance - all wrapped up in a sleek, modern package.

Suunto Race 2 takes everything users loved about the original Suunto Race and refines it: a brighter display, improved optical heart rate sensor, lighter construction, and a new charging solution that enhances both usability and comfort.

Made for performance, built to evolve

Suunto Race 2 builds on the foundation of the original Suunto Race, offering the same high-end training, racing, and everyday features - now with even more power and versatility.

It features a 1.5" AMOLED LTPO display with an ultra-sharp 466x466 resolution in a larger 49mm case, making it exceptionally easy to read even in fast-paced or sunlit situations. The display is not only brighter but also more energy-efficient, thanks to LTPO technology.

Improved comfort, lighter feel

Race 2 retains the premium look of the Race family, but features a partially updated case construction. The use of plastic in place of full metal reduces weight significantly, and the updated 12.5mm thickness makes it more comfortable for extended wear. Weighing 76g (steel) or just 65g (titanium), it's lighter and more suited to racing, training, or all-day wear.

New optical heat rate sensor and charging interface

A completely redesigned back plate brings in Suunto's most accurate optical heart rate (OHR) sensor to date. Paired with a new charging interface, the updated system improves comfort, measurement accuracy, and ease of use. The charger now snaps into place securely, making daily use more seamless.

Battery built for big days

From long training blocks to race day, Suunto Race 2 has your back.
  • Up to 50 hours of GPS tracking with dual-band GNSS
  • Up to 16 days of battery life in daily smartwatch mode

Made for serious training, racing and more

Suunto Race 2 includes everything you'd expect from a top-tier performance watch:

  • Advanced training metrics, powered by heart rate variability (HRV)

  • Race pacing tools, such as Race Time Estimator and Race Pacer

  • Performance tests, Strava segment support, and more

  • Over95+ sport modes, including cycling, trail running, swimming, and multisport
