The Black Diamond Storm+ Headlamp is a powerful, rugged rechargeable headtorch designed for demanding mountain adventures where dependable illumination matters. With a maximum output of 750 lumens, dual-lens optics and a long-distance beam, it provides the versatility needed for technical climbing, mountaineering, hiking and all-mountain activities after dark.
The Storm+ combines a flood lens, spot lens and RGB spot lens, allowing you to tailor the lighting to the task. The powerful spot beam provides long-range illumination when navigating trails or technical terrain, while the flood beam is ideal for close-range activities such as setting up camp, organising equipment or preparing for a descent. Red, green and blue night-vision modes provide additional versatility when preserving night vision is important.
Large, glove-friendly buttons make the Storm+ easy to operate in cold or challenging conditions. Mode Memory allows you to switch the headlamp on at your preferred brightness, while Black Diamond's Digital Lockout helps prevent accidental activation when the headtorch is packed away.
The Storm+ uses a serviceable 2200mAh lithium-ion battery with USB-C pass-through charging and a battery power indicator. Pass-through charging means you can continue using the headlamp while connected to a power source, providing useful flexibility on longer adventures.
Built for harsh mountain conditions, the sealed housing is IP67 waterproof and dustproof and can withstand immersion in up to 1m of water for 30 minutes. At 114g, it remains compact enough for your mountain pack while delivering substantially more power than the standard Storm.
