Weather's looking good for the weekend.

The weather is looking a bit more settled this weekend with a dry bright day in prospect for Saturday and a reasonable day on Sunday too.

Fairfield 8/8/09

Saturday is looking like the better of the two with only a very slight chance of any rain and some good periods of sunshine.  Temperatures will be about 17C with a light westerly wind.  We've had a few dry days so it should be a good day to get out on the crags.

Sunday will be much more overcast and showers are likely throughout the Lake District, particularly in the morning.  It is due to improve through the day though, with it becoming brighter and drier in the afternoon.  It will also be a little cooler than on Saturday.

Make the most of the weather though as a band of rain is due to come in throughout Monday.
