The Mountain Equipment Zeno FZ Men’s Pant is a lightweight waterproof overtrouser designed to provide dependable protection when wet and windy weather arrives. Combining a waterproof, breathable DRILITE® construction with a practical full-length zip design, these trousers are ideal for hiking, trekking and hillwalking in changeable conditions.
Made from lightweight 2.5-layer DRILITE® 50D fabric, the Zeno FZ provides a 20,000mm hydrostatic head alongside reliable breathability. The fabric uses a 75% recycled membrane and PFAS-free durable water-repellent treatment, helping keep rain out while allowing moisture vapour to escape during active use. Fully taped 15mm seams provide additional protection against water ingress.
The Active Fit and articulated knees are designed to provide unrestricted movement without unnecessary excess fabric. A tailored leg makes the trousers comfortable to walk in, particularly on steeper ground, while the design is sized to be worn over hiking trousers when additional weather protection is required.
Full-length two-way YKK® side zips make the Zeno FZ particularly easy to put on over boots, while internal and external storm flaps help protect against rain. The zips can also be opened for ventilation when working hard on the trail.
An integrated elasticated waistband with drawcord provides a secure, adjustable fit, while adjustable hems allow you to fine-tune the fit around different walking boots. At just 230g, the Zeno FZ is light enough to keep packed away until the weather turns, making it a practical addition to any hillwalking or trekking kit list.
