The Rab Men’s Glaceon Pro Down Jacket is a warm, lightweight winter down jacket designed for demanding mountain adventures in cold and exposed conditions. Built for climbing, mountaineering and winter hillwalking, it combines high-lofting 700FP recycled down with a windproof and water-resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro outer for dependable insulation when temperatures drop.
The Glaceon Pro is filled with 265g of 700FP recycled down in a size medium, providing substantial warmth while keeping the overall weight to 584g. The down has a Grangers hydrophobic treatment to help maintain loft and insulation performance in damp conditions.
Its 20D recycled Pertex® Quantum Pro outer is windproof and water-resistant, helping to shield the insulation from cold winds and light moisture. A fluorocarbon-free DWR finish provides additional protection, while the recycled construction makes up part of Rab’s focus on reducing the environmental impact of its materials. The 20D recycled Pertex® Quantum lining complements the lightweight construction while helping the jacket remain comfortable against layers underneath.
For technical winter use, the Glaceon Pro features a fully adjustable, helmet-compatible down-filled hood with a stiffened peak for additional protection. A two-way YKK® VISLON® front zip is belay-friendly and incorporates an insulated storm flap and comfortable chin guard, making it practical when worn with a harness.
Two covered zipped hand pockets and a hidden zipped chest pocket provide secure storage, while adjustable and elasticated cuffs make it easier to seal out cold air when wearing gloves. The regular fit provides room for layering without becoming unnecessarily bulky.
