The Mountain Equipment Xenith Hooded Women's Jacket is an exceptionally lightweight and warm down jacket designed for adventures where warmth, weight and packability are all important. Ideal for ski touring, fast-and-light mountain missions, hiking and trekking, it combines high-loft 800-fill-power hydrophobic goose down with an innovative hexagonal baffle construction.
The Xenith's hexagonal baffles have been carefully engineered to maximise down loft while reducing heat loss and limiting down movement within the jacket. This helps create consistent insulation with fewer cold spots, while the hydrophobic treatment on the down improves its resistance to moisture.
A lightweight HELIUM 10D outer fabric provides an excellent balance of wind resistance, durability and packability. A DWR finish helps shed light rain and snow, keeping the outer fabric drier for longer. Despite its impressive warmth, the Xenith weighs just 280g, making it easy to carry in a rucksack and an excellent choice when every gram matters.
The insulated Mountain HC Hood provides additional protection around the head and neck and can accommodate a climbing helmet when required. With practical storage, an adjustable hem and a supplied hexagonal stuff sack, the Xenith is a versatile lightweight down jacket for demanding mountain conditions.
