The Triton uses 700-fill-power down to provide an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio while remaining compressible enough for easier storage and transport. The down is also covered by Mountain Equipment's DOWN CODEX® sourcing programme and is RDS certified.
Unlike a conventional down jacket, the Triton is built with a 2-layer DRILITE® 50D waterproof and breathable outer. Fully taped seams and a durable water-repellent finish provide comprehensive protection from rain and snow, making it particularly useful when winter weather is wet as well as cold.
An adjustable insulated Mountain hood provides additional protection around the head, while the two-way SAB® centre-front zip allows ventilation and easier layering. Zipped handwarmer pockets, a chest pocket and an internal security pocket provide practical storage, while insulated cuffs and dual-tether hem drawcords help keep cold draughts out.
