The Petzl NAO RL Rechargeable Headlamp is a high-performance headtorch designed specifically for trail running and ultra running. With an impressive 1500-lumen maximum output, it provides powerful, adaptable illumination for running technical trails, steep descents and challenging terrain after dark.
Petzl’s REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology automatically adjusts the brightness and beam pattern according to your surroundings and where you are looking. This gives you a wide beam for seeing the trail immediately in front of you and a more focused beam for spotting the route further ahead, without needing to manually change settings while running.
The NAO RL features three REACTIVE LIGHTING modes, allowing you to balance brightness and battery life depending on the demands of your run. Its rear-mounted rechargeable battery helps distribute weight for a comfortable, balanced fit, while the adjustable headband and additional top strap provide stability during long-distance efforts.
The 3200 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery charges via USB-C, while a rear red light helps improve visibility to other trail users and road traffic. With its combination of powerful illumination, adaptive lighting and running-specific comfort, the NAO RL is an excellent choice for serious trail runners and ultra runners.
