Pre-Order

With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Returns and Refunds

Online Returns Information:

  • In the event that your purchase is not suitable, for whatever reason, you have the right to return it to us.
  • Goods should be returned in new condition, unused, and with their original undamaged packaging.
  • We aim to process all returns within 72 hours. This may take slightly longer at busy times of the year. We will e-mail you once your return has been processed.
  • Any items returned will be refunded unless faulty or shipped in error.
  • If you wish to exchange an item for any reason, please place a new order for the items that you want.
  • Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for the return postage costs, no postage costs are refundable.
  • Goods may be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt.
  • You do not need to contact us to notify us of your return unless the item is faulty or is outside of our 30-day policy.
  • Goods must be packaged securely to ensure they are not damaged in transit. The responsibility and liability of the goods remain with you until we are in receipt of the goods.
  • For health and safety reasons face masks cannot be returned for an exchange or refund.
  • Climbing & PPE Safety Equipment can only be returned on very strict conditions. Everything must be exactly as it was received, with packaging and labelling intact. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used or contaminated then we regret that we are unable to accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.
  • In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault, for whatever reason, then please contact us first either by telephone or email for further instructions. In the majority of cases, any faulty goods will have to be returned to us and then forwarded on to their respective suppliers for inspection. Please be aware that this process may take several weeks in some cases. Any postage costs paid will be refunded by THE CLIMBERS SHOP if a product is deemed as faulty and still under a manufacturer's warranty.

  • Ensure you include all tags with your return.
  • If possible, please include a copy of your receipt so we can process your return/exchange quickly.

Macpac's Weka 30 is a great all round day pack for any mountain adventure. It's made using Macpac's legendary Aztec Canvas, which is incredibly tough yet lightweight. It's the sort of pack that gets handed down through the generations, it's that tough.

This functional and practical, high-performing single compartment pack, is constructed with the exceptionally durable AzTec® Fabric. The large main compartment is great for keeping kit all in one place so you know exactly where it is. These features make the Weka 30 the perfect choice for activities such as climbing, scrambling, hill walking, Via ferrata or winter mountaineering. 

The padded hipbelt has zipped pockets which are ideal for your tasty on-the-go treats, a camera or a GPS unit if you use one and there are two stretchy mesh pockets at the sides of the pack which make perfect water bottle holders. The Macpac Weka 30 includes everything from a comfortable padded hip belt to a handy whistle. In all this is an excellent pack for those who like to keep organised in their own way while enjoying the outdoors. There is a small zipped pocket in the lid which is great for keeping smaller pieces of kit close to hand should you need them such as a warm hat or if your lucky enough for the sun to be out, your sunglasses.

AZTEC® PREMIUM CANVAS
Evolved to match the demanding New Zealand and Australian environments, AZTEC® fabrics are at the core of Macpac’s formidable reputation for rugged, weatherproof packs.

AZTEC® fabrics are constructed from a unique blend of hard wearing, long staple cottons and abrasion, and rot-resistant polyester fibres. These fibres are plied together to create yarns that are tightly woven in a durable cloth. Different yarns are used to create each type of AZTEC® fabric which gives them unique properties.

The cloth is saturated in a blend of resins and waxes to create a weather-proof fabric. In wet conditions, the natural swelling of the cotton fibres fills airspaces to enhance the weather-proofness of AZTEC® fabric.
