The Climbers Shop has been providing outdoor enthusiasts with expert advice and quality gear for over 50 years. Our recent internal changes have generated vacancies both in our expanding web department and in our busy store.
Dispatch Assistants
We have two new vacancies in our mail order department for Dispatch Assistants.
Reporting to the web administrator, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the timely despatch of internet orders and following up on customer enquiries. These are more than just a pick and pack functions; they are busy and challenging positions that will appeal to detail conscious, computer literate individuals who are capable of working as part of a small team. To answer the myriad of customer enquiries we receive each week, you will need to demonstrate up to date product knowledge and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Shop Floor Sales Assistants
We also have vacancies for full and part time sales assistants in our busy store. To enable us to continue to provide the standard of service expected by our customers, we are looking for active outdoor enthusiasts with current product knowledge to work in our busy store in Ambleside. Ideally we are looking for individuals with previous outdoor retail or customer service experience.
