Zamberlan Alpine & High Altitude Range

We are pleased to announce that we are now stocking a range of high altitude boots from the long established Italian footwear company Zamberlan. Established over 80 years ago, in the foot for the Dolomite Mountains in Italy, Zamberlan have a mass of knowledge for constructing alpine and high altitude mountain boots

The current range supports a variety of models that suit differing elevations, (conveniently mentioned in their names).

The Zamberlan 3000 Paine GT is generally suited for peaks up to 3000 metres (such as the Paine massif – hence the name!) and will protect and insulate your foot against the rigours of glacier and alpine travel, including the addition of a Gore-tex lining for when conditions warm up and water becomes an issue.

The Zamberlan 4000 Eiger features an internal gaiter that provides excellent abrasion and water resistance and insulation. In addition, an internal bootie will provide the insulation needed to keep comfortable on peaks like the Eiger (3970 metres).

We finally get to the Zamberlan 8000 Mt Everest boot, and no guesses for where this is designed for! With a calf length Gore-tex gaiter, a thick insulating bootie that can also be worn as a hut boot, and high durability and reliability, the Everest 8000 offers everything you need from a boot when conquering one of the planets 8000-ers.

So, if you’re contemplating a trip to one of the high points of the world, then you'll need to get yourself the right boots for the right peak, and hopefully that’s where we can help out.

Take a look at the products but if you are in any doubt, give us a call at the shop on 015394 32297 and we will arrange a fitting for you.
