The weather is looking pretty changeable throughout this weekend with frequent showers and blustery winds. This has been the general picture for a while now and it is set to continue into the new week as low pressure dominates.
The blustery winds will be most noticeable on the fell tops, where windspeeds will be around 25-30mph, with gusts of up to 50mph. Showers can be expected anywhere in the region throughout Saturday and Sunday, but will be more prevalent in the north and western fells. Sunday is looking like the wetter of the two days and may see more prolonged periods of rain as showers merge together.
'Vis' will be generally good, except in the showers or in low cloud, and temperature-wise, it'll be unseasonally cool at around 10 - 15o C. In sunny spells this will improve though.
