It's worth noting though, that the closing date is this weekend so you need to get your skates on. If you think you have left it too late then worry not, we can always email you an application form and then you can email it back again once you have completed it. As the Dispatch role is particularly connected to the website, I thought I'd give you more of an idea of what the job entails here. As the website has grown, we have had to take on more staff to deal with it. Only a year ago we employed Kez to run our dispatch operation and now we are having to employ two people to replace her (show's how valuable she was!).
Essentially, in dispatch, you are at the pointy end of the website, dealing with customers. Responsible for sending out all the mail orders, there is a lot of picking, packing and sending, but the job is more than that. Kez also deals with the majority of our customer enquiries - any of you who has phoned up to place an order will probably have spoken to her. You therefore need to be a people person as well as a being a hard worker. Finally, as the job is working for the website, there is a fair amount of computer based work so you will need to have a good handle on how to use one and be able to pick now programs up quickly.
