Ambleside Outdoor Festival

The Ambleside Outdoor Festival - The Climbers Shop schedule of events

02/08/2010 15:32:53

The very first Ambleside Outdoor Festival hits the streets and shops of our favourite Lakeland town in September and we are heavily involved. There’s set to be lots of exciting activities during the weekend of 16th-19th, from films and Zefferelli’s to Fell Races over the Cumbrian mountains and, no matter what your angle on outdoor adventure, the Outdoor Festival should have something to keep you interested.

We are playing host to a variety of climbing, walking and running based events that aim to give you either a taster of the activity, or help you get more out of your existing passion of the outdoors. We have a variety of outdoor equipment specialist and manufacturers coming to give good advice, and the odd giveaway!

Climbing

On 16th – 19th of September, the first Ambleside Outdoor Festival will be held in our lovely home town, and the Climbers Shop will be heavily involved. But what would The Climbers Shop’s contribution be without an element of climbing included? Well, as part of our input to the festival, we have organised, in conjunction with Mammut, to play host to a climbing wall outside of the shop for the entire weekend!
