Ropes & Cord - DMM 8.8mm x 60m Spectrum Rope
The Spectrum is a trad climbing half rope designed for all your summer cragging from gritstone outcrops to all day multi-pitch on the Ben. It needs to paired up with another half rope or a single rope to be used safely. These ropes were built to stand the test of time and cover the whole spectrum (hence the name!) of British climbing.
Like all of DMM's core range, the post production treatment relaxes the rope making it feel like an old favourite, even from new. DMM's Core range of ropes balance technical specifications and construction techniques with value for money. However, even at these entry level prices, we’ve still managed to incorporate more technical processes that make the ropes feel and behave better than their price tags would suggest.
Two greatly contrasting colours are used for easy identification.
