The Gore-Tex 3 layer performance shell fabric is an impervious barrier against wind and water, yet it is highly breathable too, allowing water vapour to escape so you don't get moisture build up from sweat or condensation inside. The 2 Layer construction allows the pants to be softer and The fully specced winter shell trousers have full-length, water-resistant side zips that let you slip them on while hardly breaking stride, even when wearing big boots, crampons or skis.
