The Salomon XR Crossmax Guidance CS

This is the Guidance version of the Salomon XR Crossmax CS, which offers some mild pronation control. An ideal Trail shoe if your regular training routes cover both tarmac and off-road sections

Well cushioned, yet still very stable and grippy, the XR Crossmax is a 'hybrid' between trail and road running shoes.  It is intended to meet the needs of higher mileage trail runners, who's runs regularly include both sections of both on and off road.  Salomon's Sensiflex offers a great fit and superb comfort with a soft reinforcement on the ball of the foot.  The Sensifit system wraps around the upper instep precisely while an Oversized Tendon midsole component provides a very smooth and cushioned ride, giving the XR Crossmax exceptional comfort and performance on long mixed terrain runs. A new pattern chevron Contagrip outsole ensures precise grip on virtually any surface and the incorporation of a Clima-Shield lining ensures that any water stays on the outside of the shoes.

This is the Guidance version, with a degree of control or pronation correction, and is designed formild overpronators.  It  has a 3 piece midsole with a symmetrical shape, and fully welded sensifit upper.
