The Berghaus Womens Asgard Hybrid Jacket is a completely new type of insulated jacket, combining the excellent warmth to weight ration of Hydrophobic Down with the weather resistance of PrimaLoft® Insulation, making an excellent, lightweight insulated shell jacket that is perfect for for the changeable conditions of the UK.
The Womens Asgard Hybrid jacket feels warm the moment you put it on, so you know it will keep you insulated, but the difference about this one is that it features both down and Primaloft® One. This means that you are getting the best of both worlds by having really warm and cozy down int he jacket as well as the more versatile Primaloft, which stays warm, even when wet - ideal for the UK climate!
With it's light weight and excellent insulation, the Berghaus Asgard Hybrid is perfect for scrambling alpine routes or UK winter mountaineering when weather conditions can be changeable and changing layers is inconvenient. Using quality materials and insulation, the Asgard Hybrid Jacket offers unrivalled warmth and comfort, even when working hard.
The Pertex® Quantum shell fabric provides an excelent level fo water repellency thanks to the DWR finish, as well as being completely wind resistance, while the PrimaLoft® One, which is warm, even when soaked, has been used to insulate areas of the jacket that are most likely to get wet. The true star of the show could be the 700 fill power of hydrophobic goose down which warms the core of your body but, unlike most down, actually repels moisture, therefore not suffereing as much with damp and wet conditions.
