The Pertex® Quantum shell fabric provides an excelent level fo water repellency thanks to the DWR finish, as well as being completely wind resistance, while the PrimaLoft® One, which is warm, even when soaked, has been used to insulate areas of the jacket that are most likely to get wet. The true star of the show could be the 700 fill power of hydrophobic goose down which warms the core of your body but, unlike most down, actually repels moisture, therefore not suffereing as much with damp and wet conditions.
