The Hoka OneOne Combo XT Shoe takes everything that is exceptional about the exsting Hoka Bondi B and the Hoka Mafate and Combo's them to create a cross trainer that not only allows you to run on and off road but cushions your feet appropriately on both surfaces. The super deep cushioning reduces the stresses and impact forces that are transfered up the legs when running, thus reducing fatigue and preventing injury.
As many of us have to run on some roads to get to our off road sections, or have to cross roads or hard surfaces on a trial and fell run, a cross trainer is often the best option. What the Hoka Combo XT does differently is to offer you the combination of grip needed forboth surfaces but also cushion your feet with every step.
The Hoka OneOne concept has a growing following and many people are discovering the benefits to be had from the increased cushioning experienced with a pair of Hoka's.
By using an EVA 30% softer and increasing its total volume to 2.5 times than found in a typical trail running shoe, the Hoka's give you more cushioning than any other shoe on the market today. This acts to disipate up to 80% of the shock created when running. This high level of cushioning gives you as much as 20mm of compression in the heel, yet is still superbly stable in use, giving you confidence on mixed terrain, both up and downhill.
It is often commented how comfortable, light and stable a pair of Hoka running shoes are. Once on, they do not feel any more cumbersome that a standard pair of running shoes.
