The Montane Jackal Jacket

is an über technical mid / outer layer aimed at winter warriors, ice ninjas and alpine purists. The Montane Jackal Jacket is a super close fitting, warm layer for high energy activities in cold weather and it provides an amazing amount of warmth for such a light top.  The Polartec Powerstretch Pro fabric allows full, unrestricted dynamic movement and is beefed up with Tactel reinforcements on the elbows and shoulders.  A close fitting 'balaclava' hood keeps the icy chill from ears and around the face, while being thin enough to be comfortable under a climbing helmet.  Low profile pit zips allow instant ventilation and cooling after a difficult or strenuous pitch.
