The zipper spiral, newly developed in by YKK and implemented on the Mammut Felsturm Jacket and other of Mammut's chosen fabrics, is one of the big innovations in terms of workmanship; in that it is attached directly to the outer material. This cutting-edge approach saves weight and avoids unnecessary tapes and lots of perforated seams which would require sealing. Thanks to its design, this exclusive zipper is extremely easy to use and so flexible you hardly notice it is there.
