The XR Crossmax is for higher mileage runners who transition between trail and tarmac. Salomon's Sensiflex offers superb fit and comfort with a soft reinforcement on the ball of the foot and their Sensifit system wraps around the upper instep precisely. An Oversized Tendon midsole component provides a very smooth and cushioned ride, giving the XR Crossmax superb comfort on long mixed terrain runs. A new pattern chevron Contagrip outsole ensures precise grip on virtually any surface. The Guidance version XR Crossmax is reinforced in the midsole and upper on the medial side to ensure proper foot motion and control overpronation.
