Hilleberg's Saitaris tent is a strong and stable mountain tent that will stand up to the rigours of high altitude and polar expeditions as well as offering the spacious interior and extra room that is needed for prolonged use, in any environment. Ideal for arduous base camp use, especially in high mountainous regions, and in exposed areas above tree line or for arctic environments. Built for the worst that the weather can throw at it, the Hilleberg Saitaris will cope with all you put it through but will also offer you comfort and luxury, should you decide to use in in low altitude condition as a small group tent.
The Saitaris features all the high quality features and design element that you expect from Hilleberg, including using tought Kerlon 1800 for the outer tent fabric (fly sheet), and strong 10 mm alloy poles which form and stable dome structure making the Saitaris capable of handling both heavy wind and snow loads.
The clever design of the Saitaris features an innovative pole system that puts two lengthwise poles, in full pole sleeves, across the tent’s peak, and two side poles in three-quarter length pole sleeves that lay across both lengthwise poles. The lower portion of the side poles are fastened by clips, and all four poles are secured by the same adjustable pole tensioners found in Hillebergs tunnel tents, imparting the proper pole tension for optimal structural strength. This ingenious system provides you with a very robust, and remarkably roomy dome, that is simple to erect , even on your own.
