The Montane Extreme Salopettes

Montane's Extreme range of Pile/Pertex clothing is designed for serious use in seriously wild places. The Extreme Salopettes are no exception and are regularly in use in some of the world's most hostile and unforgiving environments.  They are a massive favourite with Mountain Rescue teams and outdoor professionals.

The Extreme Salopettes are first choice amongst leading high Arctic expeditions, and they use the same classic combination of Fibre Pile and Pertex as the Montane Extreme Smock.  This tried and tested formula combines a warm, wicking, deep pile inner with a weather resistant PERTEX® Classic 6 outer shell.

The Salopettes can be worn as a single layer or in truly harsh conditions layered up with thermal baselayer leggings or Powerstretch tights. Featuring additional touches, such as mitt grab tabs and extra reinforcement around the knees and seat, the Extreme Salopettes have become a classic cold weather garment
