Using the same Pile & Pertex construction as Montane's ever popular Extreme Smock, the Extreme Gloves perform brilliantly in cold, wet and changeable mountain conditions.  The Extreme gloves have added insulation in the back of the hand using Primaloft® Eco, while the palm is reinforced with water resistant leather, which improves durability, grip and dexetrity.  Theres even a soft microfleece nose wipe on the back of the thumb for wiping away that ever present cold weather snot dribble.

Just returned from a week of skiing. The gloves performed excellently. Warm and dry at all times. However, for me one of the best features was the security of the lining. Each time my wife and son took off their gloves a delicate operation was required to reinsert fingers into the correct slots! I have always used mitts for this very reason. Great gloves!

Fits a bit tighter than I expected, maybe should have ordered a size larger than my normal one. Very pre-curved, hard to keep my hand flat. Used it for walking (also with poles), skiing and cycling. Performed fine, good glove for the money.
