Made with the superb Polartec Powershield® fabric, the Montane Sabretooth offer exceptional performance through a wide range of mountain weather. Breathable and comfortable, yet both highly water and wind resistant.
The Polartec Powershield® fabric of the Sabretooth blocks 98% of the wind and is also highly breathable. It also has excellent water repellancy and abrasion resistant, and is one of the very best performance softshell fabrics available today. The Sabretooth is perfect for changeable mountain weather conditions and will often be the one outer layer that you wear all day, come rain or shine. Softshell's reduce the stop / start routine associated with the old, traditional 3 layer (shell, midlayer and base layer) layering system and the Sabretooth is no exception.
The Montane Sabretooth is a thouroughly well thought out, all round mountain piece with venting Napoleon chest pockets, an active tailored fit, a fully adjustable helmet compatible hood and a durable performance fabric. It is suitable for climbing, mountaineering, alpinism, backpacking and hillwalking - any mountain based activity really!
