Down & Insulated Clothing - Montane Flux Jacket

is much more effective that any fleece, being lighter, more weather resistant and more compressible.  The Flux Jacket is a technical insulation layer that uses Primaloft® a highly effective synthetic insulation with almost down like qualities.  Amazingly it is also made using recycled plastics. 

It excels anytime when you need a throw on warm layer such as winter lunch stops, or for belaying on a freezing cold ledge.  Its also a perfect for camping or for general 'around town' wear.  The Flux jacket boasts a number of more technical features that make it appealling to climbers and mountaineers.  These include a fully, helmet compatible hood, twin Napoleon and chest pockets and a shorter cut in the body, so as not to interfere with a climbing harness.  The Flux has been tested on the bigwalls of Patagonia's Fitzroy in some of the most changeable and wildest weather conditions on earth

Cant fault this jacket, its windproof qualities are fantastic, tested in the lakes during this recent spell of high cold winds. Comfy and the features and pockets are excellent. Weight to warmth is fantastic, a top purchase :-)

Bought the Flux to replace my Prism 2 thats now keeping my son warm! Excellent jacket - a little warmer than the Prism, better pockets and the slightly longer style is more comfy. Would definitely buy one again - especially at this price. Wear it almost every day - brilliant!

A bit of a story here. This is my third Flux jacket. My first one which is green, was nicked by my wife! My second one which was black, was nicked by my daughter and so I have had to purchase another black one. Terrific jacket! You can practically live in it. No need for fleeces. They have had their day. This is the now and this is the future! Exceedingly warm and great for just about anything whether stationary or moving.
