Rab Photon Belay Jacket

The Rab Photon Belay Jacket is a beefed up, super insulated and weather resistant version of the Rab Photon jacket, for when you really need that extra warmth.  The Photon Belay is a popular choice for winter climbers and is great for typical Scottish conditions.  The Photon Belay Jacket features a water resistant Pertex® Endurance outer combined with the sumptuous, down like warmth of Primaloft® Sport, the market leader in synthetic insulation.  Rab use different weights of Primaloft® in different areas of the jacket to ensure that warmth is optimised where you need it most. 

The Rab Photon Belay is an excellent alternative to a down filled jacket, and performs better than down in damp conditions.

  • Pertex® Endurance water resistant rip stop outer shell, 30D on body, 50D in abrasion areas
  • Warm 200g Primaloft® Sport in body and 170g Primaloft® Sport in sleeves
  • Light 100g Primaloft® Sport in hood
  • 1-way YKK water resistant zip with internal insulated zip baffle and chin guard
  • Fixed hood with wired peak
  • 2 YKK zipped fleece lined hand warmer pockets and 2 YKK zipped chest pockets
