Many modern, technical mountaineering boots have an aggressive asymetric curve to their sole for improved climbing performance on both ice and rock. The Grivel Super asymetric bar replaces the standard straight bar to allow Grivel crampons to be fitted to these boots. The points are aligned in the correct position below the foot, with no dangerous overhangs and provide increased efficiency on ice. Available as an optional item, the super-asymmetric bar can be used on all Grivel crampons.
