The Hilleberg Kaitum is an ultralight tent but with more width and less weight than other 2 person tents. It is ideal for occasions when low weight is a higher priority than strength, but where all-season, all-weather capability is still a requirement.
Its two door/two vestibule design affords extra comfort and flexibility, while its Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric and 9 mm poles keep the weight to a minimum. Kerlon 1200 is an ultra light fabric, its 12 kilo tear strength is far higher than most “heavy duty” fabrics. The Kaitum is, therefore, immanently suitable for year ‘round' use. Because of its two door/two vestibule configuration and its ultralight materials and construction, the Kaitum provides a stunning balance of super light weight, high strength, and overall comfort.
