The Vapour-rise Trail Jacket uses Rabs popular and effective Vapour-rise system, the new VR trail jacket is an enhanced and tweaked version of the older model. It still incorporates all the functionality and performance but has an improved stow away hood with wired peak, better water repellancy and a new pocket configuration.

The Vapour rise clothing system from Rab has become a real favourite for those wanting flexibility, breathability, weather protection and durability.

Wow! What a jacket! I bought one based on the very positive reviews that I had read all over the web, and found that they arent as easy to get hold of as I thought, which is always a good sign. Luckily The Climbers Shop came up trumps with my size.

For once, a jacket that does exactly what it says on the tin. Wore this in the lakes on a windy & cold day over just a light base layer & was warm & comfortable all day. Next wore it on a bitterly cold day on pendle hill over a microfleece & did not even need to put an extra layer whilst on a lunch stop at a very windy summit. This jacket has just the right balance of warmth & windproofness.
