Rab women's Vapour-Rise Trail Jacket is no less exceptional and can be used all year round for mountain walking, scrambling, climbing, mountain biking ... you name it, the vapour-rise can do it (except maybe snorkeling).

Rab's Vapour-rise concept is the original 'soft shell', and is a great do it all layer. The more casual fit of the Rab Vapour -rise will suit walkers and trekkers who don't want the neoprene, sprayed on technical look of the more advanced soft shell systems.

A really lovely looking and great fitting jacket. Only have one small gripe on what is probably a perfect jacket and that is with the lining. It has a lovely soft lining but if your wearing something with long sleeves it tends to stick to them like velcro when your putting your arms in. Fine once youve faffed about for a minute adjusting your-self. Short sleeves, no problem. As I say, just a minor gripe.

A jacket with a huge range of versatility - everything I have ever wantedin a jacket. Provides the essential warmth, wind resistance and shower repellancy needed for days on the hill. My necessity and a must-have for the outdoor enthusiasts. The only downside I have found, and this is with most Rab jackets is that the arms are too long.

Bought one as a present for a climber on the recommendation of another (very experienced) climber who has one themselves. An excellent softshell providing warmth, wind resistance and breathability. Unfortunately it arrived with a hole in one of the pockets but it was so easy to fix that it wasnt worth the trouble to send it back. Should be noted that its cut very close around the bust so may not [end missing]

Recently purchased this jacket and so far I am delighted. Very comfortable when riding a bike and keeps out the cold very well. Allows plenty of arm movement without being bulky and baggy
