The Inov-8 X-Talon 212 is a low profile, low weight running shoe built for speed over rough terrain. An ideal fell and trail racing shoe, with an aggressively lugged grip for superb traction on loose and wet surfaces.
The X-talon is a super low profile and stable shoe that hugs the terrain and performs brilliantly on the steep stuff, both up and down. The studded sole is aggressive and uses a sticky rubber compound for grip on both wet or dry rock. With its limited cushioning this is an out and out off road shoe, that is really at home on the fells; ploughing through bogs and striding across heather and tussocks.
