The Rab Alpine Pull-on is a technical windproof shell thats great for mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking and off road running. Constructed using light, wind resistant Pertex® Equilibrium the Alpine pull on is more durable than most windproof shells, is superbly breathable and offers lightweight weather protection for a wide variety of outdoor activities.

Rab Alpine Pull-on sits between full on soft shell jacket and ultra lightweight windshirts, giving you the best of both worlds in milder conditions.  It is featured for mountaineering, so the hood is fully helmet compatible and it has a close, neat cut to reduce excess fabric.

It is very good for keeping the wind out and very warm when used with a base layer. I use mine when out on my mountain bike as its very lightweight.

Very good at keeping the wind off, great hood (as all Rab hoods) a great fit, super lightweight & packs up small. Only thing is the material bobbled at the back & shoulders on the first couple of times of use with a backpack. I would have expected a better material abrasion resistance at £63 for a pertex single layer.

Took it out for the first time walking Hadrians Wall, the weather was good so it didnt get much use, but the light weight meant that it wasnt a burden to carry. Wore it on the last day over a base layer and it was all that was needed to keep the biting wind and drizzle off along the Bowness-On-Solway coast. Ill be taking it on every trip I make from now on.
