The outer of the Rab Ascent 500 sleeping bag is constructed with light Pertex Microlight fabric which is also stong, water resistant and durable. Being inherenty windprof, it is also down proof and keeps the insulating down exactly where it is needed - in your bag. A naturally thermal product, down is not only very warm, but also compresses very well which means that the sleeping bag can be packed to a very small size (43 x 24cm)
