Design and constructed using the very latest sports technology, the X-Bionic Accumulator Tracksuit maintains your body temperature and regulates your moisture level in order to retain energy for high activity. With clever sweat management, the X-Bionic Accumulator actually uses your sweat to your advantage in order to regulate your humidity and therefore save energy.
As a full suit, the Accumulator Tracksuit provides an all over body regulation system as well as having the advantage of reducing cold spots and overlying layers that can increase chafing.
The premise is fairly simple; with normal base layers, the clothes wick all the moisture away from your body, this is then replaces my more sweat and the cycle continues. The end result is that you sweat too much and lose valuable water.
With the X-Bionic underwear a proportion of that moisture is trapped in the garment and therefore the moisture gradient is reduced so less water leaves your body.
Obviously, different parts of your body heat up and cool down at different rates. With conventional base layers there is little difference in insulation in these areas so your body must work hard to retain an even temperature during excercise. With the zonal system that the Accumulator Tracksuit employs, warm areas are allowed to cool while cool areas are insulated meaning that your body need not work as hard and you preserve your energy.
The final energy saving advantage of the X-Bionic underwear is in the fit. Fitting tightly next to the skin the Accumulator features compression areas where muscle is held in place and vibration is reduced. With a reduction in body tone vibration when moving, the energy in your body can be used just for movement instead of partly being wasted on stabilising your muscles as well as allowing for a better supply of oxygen to the limbs.
