I recently bought this shoes as the design is probably the coolest in the market. And they look absolutely great when you wear them as well. The problem I found with them though is that they feel like a box of nails when you wear them. I´m an intermediate climber and I´ve heard experienced climbers who usually wear climbing shoes 2 sizes down from their normal shoe size, say that they can´t stand using them. They absolutely destroy your feet. I had to return them and eventually went for a more comfortable shoe - the red chili Spirit VCR. I bought the same size and they were so much more comfortable it was unbelievable. If you want these shoes, I strongly recommend you buy a size higher than your normal shoe size. The fact that they have extra hard rubber at the toe will not allow them to adopt your foot shape or stretch. Apart from that problem, they are very reliable for climbing and are quite technical. I don´t see why you wouldn´t be able to use them for outdoor climbing as well.

Being an ungainly wretch who has trouble with dainty foot placement, and wore out the toes of my last feet far too quickly, I thought Id have a punt at these. Went down a size from normal feet and they were quite tight, painful, and inflexible on the first outing. By the second time out they had stretched quite a bit and were approaching being comfortable. They are still a little clunky and lacking in feel round the toe, but have come on leaps and bounds in just two three hour sessions up the indoor wall, and I expect more improvement as they break in further. The VCR straps give a good secure fitting, but my feet do seem to sweat quite a bit in them. Going for outing number three tomorrow and am liking these feet alot. I hope to give an update further down the line and would like to score five then, as I feel this is the direction these feet are heading. I dont even mind the fact that they currently turn my foot-flesh orange. Thats how much I am liking them after such a short time.
