Kahtoola MTN24 SnowShoes
The Kahtoola MTN24 is a great all purpose snowshoe that features Kahtoola's innovative Skyhook step in binding system which means you can swap from an 8 point crampon to snow shoes in an instant. New for 2012, the MTN range now feature the Wingspan adjustable wigth system that means that you can tailor the binding to the exact width of your boots.
The MTN 24 is the perfect size for floating over deep powder, whilst not being too unwealdy. The flexible deck spreads the weight effectively and allows effortless progress to made over soft snow, whilst the integrated metal gripper plate keeps you secure on steep ascents and descents. The 2 in 1 binding system allows you to use the SKYHOOK Traction System (Kahtoola's unique combined forefoot crampon and snow shoe binding) to walk on icy or snow packed trails, and then just step into the snowshoe when it gets softer and deeper.
The unique Wingspan Adjustable Width Technology that Kahtoola have used in the MTN Snowshoes is easy to use, all you need is a coin or a key and you can taylor the width to fit a range of shoes and boots from a womens size 4 to a mens size 13.
