Features: the new cam has a slot to get rid of water, ice or mud, and teeth designed to slide up the rope more easily and grip it positively when required. The improved ergonomic shape of the handle gives a comfortable hold, even when wearing gloves. Advantages: increased strength particularly on smaller diameter ropes (4.2 kN on an 8 mm dynamic rope). Advice: use with single kernmantel rope (UIAA dynamic or low stretch rope or static) from 8-13 mm.
